Fees
Veduta Consulting offers a wide variety of services. Costs will depend on the services you choose and the counselor or staff member you work with, based on our straightforward, hourly fee-for-service system.
Individual and Couples Counseling:
Our individual and couples counseling services vary from $120-$280 per hour, depending on the counselor. We are happy to discuss any special needs or circumstances you may have; please contact us for further information.
Career Counseling:
Our career counseling services vary from $100-$280 per hour, depending on the counselor. We focus on career exploration and job search strategies, a process very different from individual or diagnostic counseling. Please be aware that these services are generally not covered or reimbursed by insurance.
Supervision and Consultation:
Supervision and consultation fees for individual sessions range from $100-$150 per hour. For group sessions, the range is generally $60-$80.
Other organizational services are generally billed at $200 per hour.
Presentations and workshops are billed per day, according to their format, content and length. Costs are generally between $500-$1000 per ½ day and $1000-$1250 per full day.
Community Services:
Veduta’s Community Services work in partnership with public service organizations serving high-need, low-resource communities. We offer services ranging from expert professional consultation to low-cost or pro bono assistance. Please reach out to us to explore possible partnerships.
Other Services:
Individual, customized services, special projects and other programs are available, and will be invoiced and billed at pre-determined rates. Please contact us for more information about our services, or if you have any questions about fees or payments.
Payment
Clients who are using their insurance will be charged a pre-determined co-pay. For individual, career and couple counseling services, payment is due at the end of each session. Typically, clients put a credit card on file in our secure, HIPPA-compliant portal, where charges are made automatically and processed within a week of the appointment. Cash and personal checks are accepted, subject to prior approval.
Our other services are invoiced and billed at pre-determined rates.
Important Information on Insurance:
Counselors, other than Dr. Giordano, at Veduta Consulting are in-network with BCBS.
If you have an insurance other than BCBS, we can still accommodate your insurance. We are very familiar with insurance procedures, and will be happy to help you through our personal, individualized process. We can provide an invoice, bill, diagnostic documentation or other paperwork to submit to your insurance company. Also, please be sure to check with your insurance provider for any “out-of-network benefits” they may offer. You can often apply these to important services, even if your policy does not list them specifically.
Message from Dr. Giordano:
As the owner of Veduta Consulting and as a therapist with a lifetime of professional experience, I work to have a unique relationship with my clients. I don’t want insurance to be in between me and you. I work this way because I know that quality care depends on the personal relationship between client and counselor. Together, we should determine the length and time of your appointments, choose the services you need, and decide how much those services are worth to you. It is you who makes those choices, not an insurance company. This also allows me to have a relationship with you completely based on discretion and privacy.
