We believe the art and ambience of Veduta (“Arte e Ambiente” in Italian) is a vital part of our therapeutic and educational work. John Metido, creator of our entryway mural
John Metido is a professional painter, working primarily in the Chicago area. He graduated from the American Academy of Art in Chicago in 2015, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and specialization in oil painting. He received a Fellowship from the Luminarts Foundation in 2014, a residency at the Ed Paschke Art Center in 2015, and studied advanced drawing and painting at Vitruvian Fine Art Studio in Chicago. John currently resides in the Chicagoland area, painting full-time and working to further his art and career.
Veduta' means a vista, a new and expansive view of the world. In September of 2002, Chicago artist John Metido completed our entryway with a new vista of his own, a classically styled Italian mural rendered in traditional oil paints. Look out between the striking, realistic columns, and experience the warm tranquility of the countryside below. Come visit the offices of Veduta Consulting, a unique and beautiful space.
